Hello from All By My Shelf

Hello Booknerdigans!

My name is Jessica and this is All By My Shelf. You may notice the roughly 500+ posts that have come with me to this new endeavor of mine. In previous years, I blogged and podcasted at Round Robin Writes and Booked All Night with many amazing readers, bloggers, and writers.

Both of those projects are closed now (although you can still view and listen to all the amazing disussions we had at Booked All Night), but I love blogging so much I started my own project to do–you guessed it–all by my shelf.

Get it?

I’m hilarious that way.

There will be no shortage of puns here.

Nor will there be a shortage of book reviews or discussions on reading and writing middle grade and YA books. Children’s literature is amazing and I hope to ignite your passion for with my own.

Things might look and sound a little hairy while I get set up on my own here, but just know that I can’t wait to get started again.

Happy Reading,

She holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults, an MA in Writing, and a BA in Writing Arts (specializing in Creative Writing, New Media Writing, and Publication; concentrating in New Media Production), which she somehow managed to earn despite her three very loud and large dogs. Jessica was lucky enough to intern at Quirk Books and Picador, USA while earning her master’s degrees. Her service dog, Ringo, is very proud of all that she has accomplished and hopes to be on a back cover of a published book with her very soon. An avid reader, writer, and lover of young adult and middle-grade literature, Jessica’s bookshelf is overflowing with hardbacks, paperbacks, and a million half-filled notebooks. She is a proud fur-mommy to two lab/st-bernard littermates, a retriever-mix service dog, and one orange little hobgoblin cat, all of whom have made very audible appearances on the Booked All Night podcast.
